Special Session at ACII'09

Social interaction with robots and agents: where do we stand, where do we go?

The special session in the form of a panel discussion is organised in collaboration with Eva Hudlicka and Rodrigo Ventura.
The session will feature an extract of the videos recorded during the first iteration of the field study, beside related video sequences of human-agent and human-human interaction. The invited panelists, from different disciplines, will discuss these videos from the perspective of methodology, theory, and modeling.
