Special Session at ACII'09

Together with Eva Hudlicka and Rodrigo Ventura, SERA organised a special session at ACII'09, on 12 Sep 2009, in Amsterdam. The title of the panel discussion was "Social interaction with robots and agents: where do we stand, where do we go?" 

Panelists were Christian von Scheve, Ana Paiva, and Christain Becker-Asano. After seeing short video sequences from human-human and human-machine interactions, they discussed questions about the requirements for companion technologies. The debate focused on the challenge of modeling long-term relationships.
